Experimenta, media partner of the exhibition ‘Cambiare il mundo con un vaso di fiori’

The Italian Cultural Institute’s branch in Madrid will present the travelling exhibition of the IV Biennial Ceramics Show at the Contemporary Art Fair Cambiare il mundo con un vaso di fiori (‘I’ll Change the World with a Vase of Flowers’). This exhibition comes out of the work of an international network headquartered in Albisola and made up of territorial and cultural institutions, universities, ceramics companies and artisans. The vehicle for the exhibition is the simplicity of the flow vase, an everyday object with thousands of expressive possibilities, materialized this time in pieces of ceramics by Simone Berti, Alessandro Biamonti, Andrea Branzi, Linde Burkhardt, Fernando and Humberto Campana, Lorenzo Darniani, Paolo Deganello, Florence Doléac, Marco Ferreri, Alberto Garutti, Alexis Georgacopoulos, Martì Guixé, Pekka Harni, Corrado Levi, Hugo Meert, Alessandro Mendini, Donata Paruccini, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Adrien Rovero, Denis Santachiara, Paolo Ulian, Vedovamazzei, Alberto Viola, Luca Vitone. There is also a special project by Michelangelo Pistoletto, “Flower vases: Windows of the Third Paradise”.

New Cevisama Fair

Valencia will soon host the 28^th International Ceramics Fair for Architecture, Bath Fixtures and Kitchens, Natural Stone, Raw Materials, Frits, Glazes and Colors and Machinery. Following on their last fair in 2008, Cevisama is once again holding the Innova Ceramics Show, an international event for businesses and organizations in the ceramics sector to meet and share proposals and solutions to technological challenges. Additionally, in conjunction with Cevisama Indi (the fair’s Innovation and design platform), the international competitions will be held on Ceramics Design and Bathroom Fixtures.

Experimenta in ARCO

Experimenta will be participating in the 29^th International Contemporary Art Fair ARCO, and has a space for displaying and spreading their publications. This year’s ARCO fair has a total of 227 galleries from 25 different countries, and is featuring Los Angeles as the Special Guest City.
